Public Rights Project (the rather amazing social justice, legal advocacy non-profit I’m editing for!) is looking to interview a handful of Mississippi+Texas humans around what’s at stake in the possibility of Roe being overturned and abortion being banned for our new magazine THE PUBLIC.
From patients (potential and past) to providers on the frontline, we’re hoping to paint a picture of a social fabric that’s rapidly unraveling. PRP is keenly invested in how the laws are being written, interpreted, and potentially overturned, but without the stories of the human lives behind them, it’s difficult to grok the enormity and ubiquity of their impact.
